Selection: Growers' choice, as there are no differences between the seedlings yet. I always choose the biggest and most robust seedlings to sell. Please note that red colors are recessive, meaning that not all resulting plants will necessarily have very red emergents.

Mother plant: Velvet Mask × besseae aff., a hybrid I created. This is plant number one from this cross, used in my breeding. This plant produces stunning, sparkly emergent leaves with vivid pink veins, which harden into a rich, deep green.

Pollen donor: a species of kunayalense of unknown exact parentage but suspected to be early RA stock. Acquired from aroidapartment.
