Parent Plants

'Weirdo'

As the name says, this one is an odd of an individual plant! It has a closed sinus, and does this thing where it pulls the whole leaf upwards into a cone shape. The strange look comes from a big variety in its parents: velvety BVEP and dressleri, peltate forgetii and stripy magnificum.

(carlablackiae × dressleri RG) × papillilaminum 'RLFS'

An amazing dark plant, with slighly protrude yellow venation, ruffled edges and red emergent. A hybrid between carlablackiae x dressleri RG and papillilaminum 'RLFS' F2, from Ela (Germany, @elas_jungle).

About this cross

My first hybrid with Weirdo as a parent. Weirdo is weird individual, with a peltate leaf, and interesting veins. The carlaDress x pap 'RLFS' brings ruffled edges, inky dark leaves, strong red emergent and yellow veins, and even at seedling size some are already showing those ruffled edges, so this is a cross I'm very excited to see further develop.
