An Aussie hybrid between Midnight Velvet × 'Red Studd' from hybridizer Hải (Australia/Vietnam, @hoffmanihai). Has purple to peach color emergents and dark green mature leaves. Has resulted in amazing hybrids for me when mixed with plants with red or purple colors.

Rioclaroense × is a wild hybrid, suspected to involve a species from section Xialophyllium. Wild Anthurium hybrids are uncommon, and cross-sectional ones are considered particularly rare. The plant was discovered by Jay Vannini.

Surprisingly this mix came out pretty rio-heavy, even more than the Zara x Michelle version of the rio cross. A lot of flat-to-even negative sinus and elegant elongated shape, and some purple colored emergents. A few came out looking nothing like rio at all: heart-shaped, velvet, purple, which is pretty weird and fun.
