Cv. Carmesim is an Anthurium with an unknown exact origin and to my knowledge, it is only known from cultivation in Brazil.
It has peachy to orange emergents, sizes up very well and a lovely sub-velvet leaf texture.
Zara × Michelle is a well-known complex hybrid from DocBlock. To my knowledge, the iconic purple- and red-emergent forms trace back to the late Tim Anderson’s Wonderboy lineage. This lineage is speculated to include, at least in part, genetics from magnificum and crystallinum.
My plant displays exceptionally long-lasting purple emergents. As the leaves fully expand, they initially present a lighter, pink-toned coloration before hardening off to a deeper, darker hue with pronounced purple undertones. The plant is further distinguished by striking pink roots and a purple inflorescence.
